Marble Falls

Marble Falls rests in the heart of the Highland Lakes region and is a wonderful spot for a weekend getaway from big city life. Visitors flock to Lake Marble Falls, a part of the Colorado River, for swimming, boating, and lakeside lounging, while Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge offers a more active outing with its hiking trails through the area's hilly landscapes. During spring, the area’s wildflower blooms, including bluebonnets, make the scenery especially inviting.

You also can’t miss a visit to nearby Granite Mountain or a trip to Johnson Park for picnicking and birdwatching along Backbone Creek.

Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, it’s known for natural attractions like Blue Hole Regional Park, where visitors can swim in spring-fed waters surrounded by towering cypress trees.
